About Limited Editions at Fallen Tree

• I love working with natural wood. Sometimes I get unique boards out of a tree, and I think what would look cool with that wood.
• Sometimes I might have a scrap of it or come across something similar. Usually though I only get a limited number of pieces out of certain woods.

About the Wood

• Ash tree from family member's home in Wheeling, WV. This ash tree fell and took down a Maple with it, beautiful wood pieces come from both.
• Spalted is a natural decaying of the wood, it gives the wood beautiful dark lines and creates gorgeous patterns and highlights the grain. The drying process stops any more decay and the finish blocks it from starting again.
